This time of year, we always get a lot of personalized flower pot orders for teacher gifts. When one of my customers, Christine, recently told me her idea for their group teacher gift, I thought it sounded so cute and creative! She sent me pics of the finished product so I could share them with you and hopefully give you some good ideas as well.

She cut a flower shape for each kid in the class, attached their pic to the center of each flower, and then had the kids sign the back. She attached the flowers to regular clear florist stakes and inserted them into floral foam down inside the pot (this is a great idea since it doesn't add any extra weight to the pot!) She then covered the foam with burlap. Another great idea would be to use some decorative moss to cover the top! She attached gift cards to the stakes, and ta-da! What a lucky teacher Miss McWilliams is! Such a special gift. I have such smart customers. :)

Thanks so much, Christine, for letting me share. Everybody go check out her blog here.
I love, LOVE to see what creative things people do with our pots. If you'd like to share your creations, email me some pics, and I'll post them here!
