We're gearing up for our last two shows before the holidays, the first being the Chi Omega Christmas Market! We love doing this show every year, and can't wait to start painting pots and printing tees. We'll be doing both there in the booth, so you can take your goodies home with you from the show!
Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door - click here for more info.
I didn't get to see ol' Big Tex this year, so I'm gettin' my fair fix with these images by HeyZee. I can almost taste that Fletcher's corny dog now...mmm.
Head on over to Lion Brand Yarn to get the free patterns for these fun Halloween crochet projects. Don't know how to crochet? Thev've got great illustrated instructions here.
Frankie and Corny are two of our newest friends. They'll be hanging around until Halloween, so get 'em while they last! They'll be up on my site soon along with the rest of the Cu-tee-pies gang (I promise!). In the meantime, you can order by email. Just include the details of your order in the comments section.
I have just discovered the work of artist Jane Mount and am completely in love.
From her blog: "This is an ongoing project called 'Ideal Bookshelf'. I paint sets of books as a form of portraiture: a person's favorites (of all time, within a genre or from a particular period in their lives); the ones that helped make them who they are today."
You can send her a photo of your books, and she will paint your collection. Such a wonderful idea! I find myself wondering which books I would choose. There'd definitely be a Jane Austen or two in the mix. I especially love the children's book collections. What a great way to preserve the memory of a child's favorite books! Visit her etsy store to order your own.
Well, we survived our first show of the season. And boy, was it a great one! Last week we were in Ft. Worth at Christmas in Cowtown. We painted pots, of course, and this year we are printing personalized kids tees right there in our booth! That's right, no more waiting for your order to come in the mail.
We added tons of new designs and plan to add even more before our next show!
We've also added these really great monogrammed duffel bags to our line. This bag has so many uses and makes such a great gift. Everything will be available on our all new amazing web store...soon. That's one thing that's still in the works, but we are planning to have it up and running before my next show in plenty of time for Christmas shopping!
Fox 4 News was filming at the show. Check out our booth in the background! Channel 5 actually filmed me painting a pot, but I didn't hear if we made it on or not. Anybody see?
My husband and I run a little business on the side personalizing flower pots with house numbers and names. We'd love to paint a special pot for you or a friend. For more information, visit my website.
