While I was digging around online for some fun Christmas tutorials, I came across this one on Instructables. With some origami paper and yes - some folding (don't be scared - there's a video to show you how!), you can turn a boring string of lights into something very lovely for your tree.
This kind of thing is right up my alley! I enjoy the monotony of making the same thing over and over - like granny squares for a throw. It's almost therapeutic. Or maybe I'm just a little crazy. Either way, it gives me a chance to catch up on all my shows for the week!
We hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving! Now it's full-speed ahead to Christmas.
Just a reminder:
All personalized pot orders that are being shipped must be placed by DEC. 5 for guaranteed Christmas delivery.*
All personalized shirt and bag orders must be placed by DEC. 10.
After that, we will do our best but cannot guarantee.
*note: this only applies to personalized pot orders placed online through the store that will be shipped. You may still place orders by email after December 1 to pick up before Christmas - but don't wait too long! We usually have to cut off pick-up orders as well. Best bet - get those orders in early!
I was so excited to come across this Silhouette giveaway on Grosgrain. If you haven't seen this machine yet, you will be blown away by what it can do! I've had my eye on it for quite a while now. Visit the post here for info about the machine, how to enter, and in case you don't win, a coupon code for a sweet deal on the machine good only on Cyber Monday! I usually don't win these things, so I have been dropping some serious hints the last few days. All I can say is Jack's birthday party invites will be crazy awesome if I can get my mitts on one of these machines!! Fingers and toes crossed - and good luck to all of you! If you win, you have to let me come over and play with it. Deal?
When I stole a few minutes to walk around at our last show, I came across the cutest booth - No Girls Allowed. It was full of all things boy - toys, clothes, fedoras, ties, and this adorable set of pj's. I immediately snatched them up for Christmas morning for Jack. The pics are going to be SO great. I can't wait! Check out all of the super cute boy stuff on their site - but remember, No Girls Allowed!!
We recently met Sean and his mom at one of our shows. He was about to celebrate his 1st birthday, and took home one of our birthday tees. His mom was kind enough to send me a pic of his special day to share with you!
Cute ribbon can be hard to find, especially when you're looking for just the right one for your project. These designs by Jessica Jones of How About Orange are fresh and fun, and would add the perfect finishing touch to a bag, quilt...or ponytail. :)
My husband and I run a little business on the side personalizing flower pots with house numbers and names. We'd love to paint a special pot for you or a friend. For more information, visit my website.
